(USA deal) four Bassoon Reeds by Cameron Burnes

Sale Price: A$150.00 Original Price: A$180.00

I’ve been seeing a lot of interest in my reeds from the USA recently. I understand the current tariff situation can be a barrier, so I’m offering a limited deal and free shipping for US customers to help make them more accessible.

My reed making style draws on both American and European traditions, including the Herzberg system through his former teacher Yoshi Ishikawa. Further development came through private study in 2025 at Muho Mannheim with Professor Ole Kristian Dahl, where he observed reed classes and received private lessons.

The result is a performance-driven reed style—offering great sound, consistent response, and reliability when you need it most. Designed to be easy to adjust, these reeds are trusted by players at every level.

I use the KOR shape, developed by Kristian Oma Rønnes, a former student of Ole Kristian Dahl. The overall dimensions are similar to a Rieger 1a, with a similar tip width that helps the low notes speak easily, and a slightly narrower throat to keep the middle and upper registers stable and in tune. It’s a well-balanced, flexible shape that plays evenly across the range, making it a reliable all-rounder for both students and professionals.
